Graham signs with Ravens

Shayne Graham, the fifth most accurate kicker in the history of the NFL (85.2%), signed a one-year, $1.5 million contract with the Baltimore Ravens.

Graham, a former Bengal for years, will certainly be considered the starter at Kicker for the Ravens. He is also able to handle kickoff duties, which the Ravens had to use an extra roster spot to compensate for over the last couple of years.

Now 32, Graham should be able to finish his career with the Ravens, as this is the player Baltimore hopes can be their kicker for the foreseeable future.

Yes, this is a kicker, but if you’re a Ravens fan, this should excite you. Think about Graham coming onto the field and you believing he will make the kick to win the game, instead of you believing he will miss the kick to lose the game (as was the case for Raven kickers on multiple occasions last year).

Thanks for reading.
