After a brutal opening weekend in the NFL, star players on great teams had their seasons end.
Packers RB Ryan Grant (right ankle, fibula) and Jets DT Kris Jenkins (left ACL) are out for the 2010 season, due to injuries sustained in their respective week 1 games.
Jenkins had reconstructive surgery on that same left knee last October, ending his 2009 season.
Colts S Bob Sanders may also be put on IR, due to a torn biceps tendon suffered while playing the Texans on Sunday. Sanders missed 14 games last season due to a different torn biceps tendon.
Although the Colts won nine straight games to end the 2008 season with Sanders in their line-up, they also won 12 games in 2009 season without Sanders.
Sanders may come back this season, pending the severity of his injury.
